There I focused in creative writing poetry and worked under the direction of poet, Olga Broumas. Since graduating I have pursued a career in education, teaching at University High School in West Los Angeles since 2003. In the fall of 2008 I will begin an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) program in creative writing poetry at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. From there I hope to teach writing at the college level.
